Due to some road construction in Nevada we have some road closures. They would advise you to take the Highland exit and go west on Highland to Ash St (.5 miles). Turn south on Ash then back west on Hickory St. (1 mile). In about .5 mile the school will be on your right.

Congratulations to the Pride of Aurora marching band which competed at MSU's marching festival. We placed 4th in our class and advanced to finals. In finals, we placed 3rd overall.
Congratulations to our FFA Grasslands Team where they finished as the Reserve District Champions today. Team members include:

Lexie Burch was 10th High Individual and Bailey Andrews
They will now compete at the State Contest in two weeks.

This Saturday, the marching band performed at Parkview HS and won the following recognitions:
In Class A - 1st Place, Best Drum Major (Olivia Ray), Best Winds, Best Percussion
In Finals - 12th Place Overall

The Pride of Aurora marching band had a successful day in our first festival in two years at the Carl Junction Festival. The band placed first in our class and Olivia Ray won best drum major and we won best guard. We made finals and placed 9th overall.
Robert Wagner earned 8th place in Cyber Security at the Virtual FBLA National Leadership Conference last June 2021. This is Robert's second year to achieve Top 10 at the FBLA NLC. Pictured is from Left to Right, Mr. Pettegrew, FBLA Advisor, Robert Wagner, and Vice Principal Mr. Spooner.
Tomorrow’s (Tuesday) Volleyball game at Aurora vs. Lamar will be JV and Varsity only. The JV will start at 6:00 followed by Varsity.

Open House at Aurora High School will be Thursday, August 19th, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
We will allow students ONLY to enter the main lobby to pick up laptops, schedules, pay tech fees and drop off any medication to the nursing staff. No touring the building will be permitted.
If a student cannot stop by for Open House and would like to pick up their Chrome Book, the High School office will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
