Several FBLA students participated in the FBLA Social Media
Workshop at the Baptist Temple, Aurora, MO on Tuesday, November 5,
2019.
The Aurora FBLA Chapter Hosted the event while Recruiters from
the Drury University Monett, MO Campus Conducted the Workshop.
Special guest speaker was Dr. Waters from the Communication Dept., Drury
University Springfield, MO Campus. Tyson Foods Sponsored the event
through donations for prizes. Drury University presented scholarships
to several students who earned 1st place in their presentation.
Students attending from Aurora High School are Austin Gibson, Betime Begzati,
Matthew Atwood, Tavia Sifuentes, Tylor Koch, Madison Siegrist, Trinity
Crook, and Gabe Henson. Betima Begzati earned a scholarship from Drury
for a free 3 hour course. Gabe Henson and Austin Gibson were
technicians and managers for the event.
Mr. Pettegrew and Ms Brewer are the Aurora FBLA Advisors.
