 Fall Semester  
1 Students will demonstrate mastery and craftsmanship of their student-led goals within hand building project 1.
2 Students will demonstrate mastery and craftsmanship of their student-led goals within hand building project 2.
3 Students will demonstrate mastery and craftsmanship of their student-led goals within hand building project 3.
4 Students will demonstrate mastery and craftsmanship of their student-led goals within hand building project 4.
5 Students will demonstrate mastery and craftsmanship of their student-led goals within hand building project 5.
6 Students will demonstrate mastery and craftsmanship of their student-led goals within wheel throwing.
7 Students will investigate, experiment, & select surface textures and designs best suited to meet the visual goals of their ceramic work.
8 Students will prepare and apply glazes with proficiency.
9 Students will demonstrate a basic understanding of the history of ceramics.
10 Students will investigate the nature of art, discuss responses to artworks, connections to other art forms, and evaluate their own artwork by means of maintaining a digital journal (blog).
Spring Semester
11 Students will demonstrate mastery and craftsmanship of their student-led goals within hand building project 1.
